There's something . . . appropriate . . . about doing a fan art collaboration for a writing collaboration :giggle:

The original art was done by :iconglaurung-ii: [link] go there for a description of the actual scene that this piece came from ;P

Needless to say . . . Mael isn't in the best shape in this picture, and lovely Cossette is to blame :evillaugh:

:iconglaurung-ii: did the inks for this just recently, and when I asked when she would do the colors, she said I was welcome to. :plotting:

So . . . here are the colors! :w00t: Hope you all like it!

My favorite part is . . . the door :paranoid: I dunno why, but I'm REALLY happy about how the door came out :crazy:

I can't think about a better result.

The door, floor and walls look perfect, maybe better than I could have managed (is scared of backgrounds ^^; )

I'm noticing a rather troubling trend this month. Something will go wonky in my life, and yet there will be something that cheers me up almost immediately afterwards. Case in point, last night I tossed and turned until about 2:30 when I finally passed out from exhaustion only to snap awake at about 8:00 -- and then I find this awaiting me in my inbox. :meow:

Suffice to say, this is the cheerful part. :giggle:

It looks TERRIFIC, you! You even got the spotting on Mael cravat! Aaaah...! I love it...! :icondweebdanceplz:
