One more done . . . this is Kero-chan from Cardcaptor Sakura for my son. Yes . . . he LOVES Cardcaptor Sakura, or . . . in his words . . . "I like it lot's better than Sailor Moon"
Wish I actually owned the series rather than borrowing it all the time from my good friend
Anyway . . . this guy was tricky . . . I adapted the same pattern that I used on Luna . . . shrinking it down a bit, changing the ears and head, adding the wings and tail. It was tricky. Especially sewing the already stuffed wings on and then sewing the body around the same wings My sewing machine bit me while I was struggling with all of the thickness . . . still smarts
The fabric is very similar to the stuff I used for Luna . . . and again, I'll never buy the stuff again for using on plushies. It sheds like crazy and is a little weak, but it's really soft He's stuffed mostly with fiberfill, but I did put some plastic pellets in his body to weigh him down.
His mouth is hand embroidered and he's got glass beads for eyes.
Anyway . . . hope my son likes him, and hope everyone thinks he's cute
I vaguely remember this little guy from the show when it aired on TV. Too bad I never got to see more than a handful of episodes.
