I know I said my muse wasn't cooperating . . . and it isn't. I've been working on this picture for TWO WEEKS off and on :faint:

This is my character Prince Alaestor, taking on a couple of nasty demons (there are more waiting in the wings, this is just the beginning of the battle :disbelief:). This, again, is Michael's fault. Michael beat up Alaestor (after Al got pissed at Michael for teaching Mara how to kill people by magically giving them aneurysms and punched Michael in the nose :roll:) and basically told Al that he wasn't capable of protecting Mara and Myriam. :no:

Al didn't take this very well . . . so he decided to sneak off and go get some items that would help him become more powerful, not thinking about the fact that he might DIE in the process :ohmygod: He felt like he needed to prove himself. Yeah . . . he's got some ego issues. :XD:

Long story short . . . the idiot survived . . . he IS more powerful, but Myriam is absolutely pissed at him for sneaking off and nearly getting himself killed (she and Rysta went to the rescue). He's a bit in the doghouse at the moment ;P

I actually used this to practice some lighting stuff and work on my anatomy more . . . I've got some fight scenes coming up soon in my comic and I need all the practice I can get ^^;

Ariel: you took on Demons? *looks impressed* nice one.. and u did it because of your pride? *shrugs* i have done the same thing.. though i do prefer traveling 2 different lands and adventures 2 get some useful skills..and of course..Aardrin screams at me on a daily basesis :paranoid: but o well...


Characters really need 2 stop letting their pride get over loaded...what so you think?

Pfft . . . I like it when a character has pride . . . it's easier to make them suffer when they get taken down a peg or more :XD:

I'm still learning, although it helps that my hubby knows martial arts and is willing to help me by posing occasionally :nod:
